49ers add veteran cornerback while shuffling roster

The 49ers shuffled their roster a bit Tuesday, together with claiming veteran cornerback C.J. Goodwin off waivers from the New York Giants.

Goodwin, a four-year veteran who performed for the Falcons whereas 49ers coach Kyle Shanahan was an Atlanta assistant, has now been with 5 groups since signing with the Steelers in 2014. Goodwin performed two video games final season for the Cardinals after being reduce by the Falcons, however he was claimed off waivers on Could 1 by the Giants.

Goodwin appeared in 26 video games for the Falcons, together with their Tremendous Bowl LI loss to the Patriots.

As well as, the 49ers waived vast receiver DeAndre Carter and signed undrafted rookie defensive lineman Blaine Woodson from the College of Delaware to a three-year contract.
