Three arrested in four-figure theft from San Carlos drugstore



SAN CARLOS — A trio of San Francisco males was arrested on suspicion of stealing greater than $1,000 value of merchandise from a San Carlos drugstore over the weekend.

The incident was reported about 5 p.m. Sunday on the CVS Pharmacy on the 1300 block of San Carlos Avenue.

San Mateo County sheriff’s deputies arrested one suspect — 19-year-old Michael Carmona — on the scene and two others — 20-year-old Quetzal Nevarez Rodriguez and 23-year-old Jose Molina — as they drove away.

Carmona and Nevarez Rodriguez have been allegedly discovered with greater than $1,000 value of stolen merchandise. Deputies booked each males into San Mateo County jail on costs of housebreaking, conspiracy to commit a criminal offense and possession of a managed substance.

Nevarez Rodriguez was additionally needed on a felony warrant.

Molina was booked on costs of conspiracy to commit a criminal offense and possession of marijuana whereas driving.
